Clare Harwood interviewed for Pied Piper II - Oct 2010

Role in Pied Piper II: Big Cheese

 Age: 17

Years Acting: Nine years

Where you initially learnt your skills? Moskeetos

What are the most memorable moments in your acting career to date? Playing Verity at the BFAME festival with a great cast surrounding me.

What made you decide to be in the Pied Piper II? After being in Pied Piper One and all the other shows to date I couldn't miss out on what could be the best pantomine we have ever done.

Give a short but complete description of your character: Big Cheese wants to be the leader of the pack, he is in awe of Chief Rat and wants to be just like him. He pushes people around because

Who or what inspired you to work in your field? Vivienne Wilkes has always been my inspiration.

Who were your heroes when you were young? From when I joined mossies, Viv has always been there and has helped me choice drama for my path in life. She has always been there and taught me I am truly grateful of her.

What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment? Winning most outstanding female youth perform for Find Me in 2007 in the BFAME festival.

When did you know that you wanted to be an actor? From a young age I always loved to get up and be the centre of attention and put on plays. Now at college I truly wish to follow that route and become a trained actor.

Funniest joke you can think of on the spot? Two muffins are sitting in an oven, one turns to the other and say's 'It's getting hot in here' and the other one says 'Oh my god a talking muffin!'
