Amy King Interviewed for the Pied Piper II - Oct 2010

Name of Actress:     Amy King

Role in Pied Piper II:     Squeaky

Age:     15

Years Acting:    About 10 years

Where you initially learnt your skills?    Firstly from Vivienne Wilkes and all the acting games and workshops I did since I first joined Mosquitoes

What are the most memorable moments in your acting career to date?      The first Pied Piper where I played the role of a small rat and a town’s folk child, Domby Dom when I was the character or Timmy, and evil child genius that destroyed a cardboard Wembley stadium, or find me where I had the role of  the young version of Verity.

What made you decide to be in the Pied Piper II?     The opportunity to be a rat again was too good to say no to.

Give a short but complete description of your character:     Cute, sneaky and very ditzy.

Who or what inspired you to work in your field?      Wanting to join my Mom and my Nan when they came to MOS every Friday night.

Who were your heroes when you were young?      Po from the telli-tubbies and Neil from art attack.

What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment?     Ooh that’s a tricky one, nothing I can think of on the spot really.

When did you know that you wanted to be an actor?     I don’t think there was really a time when I knew, I think I just knew I enjoyed it so I did.

Funniest joke you can think of on the spot?    Two peanuts walk into a bar, and one was a salted. It’s awful, but it’s all I can think of
